| James H. Salter, P.E.
James Salter serves as Chairman of Atlantic, the company he founded 15 years ago.
Atlantic was an early proponent of fiber as the ultimate access technology and was a charter member of the FTTH Council, where James served as President in 2002. The company built the nation’s first FTTH city in Kutztown Pennsylvania in 2001 and has designed and built over 30 cities with FTTH networks in the past 10 years.
Today, Atlantic is leading the idea of combining FTTH and Smart Grid technologies into a single business plan for municipalities and rural electric cooperatives.
