Kandutsch operates a solo law practice in Plano, Texas, representing MDU property owners and managers and broadband service providers at the intersection of real estate and telecommunications law. He has published numerous articles (available at www.kandutsch.com) dealing with regulatory, legal and public policy issues related to his legal practice. In 1997, Kandutsch joined the Cable Bureau of the Federal Communications Commission, taking a lead role in drafting amendments to the Commission’s rules governing the disposition of “inside wiring” in MDU properties. He then became general counsel for DirecPath, one of the largest, most successful private cable operators in the United States. He holds a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, a Ph.D. from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law.
