As Senior Vice President of Strategic Development and Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Baloga was instrumental in initiating Airwave Networks’ business operations. Mr. Baloga’s present responsibilities include the strategic planning for business development and investment opportunities and directing sales and marketing efforts. He has overseen the launch of operations to accommodate community-based telecommunications and broadband services programs for a wide variety of student housing applications. He has negotiated the terms for, and overseen the deployment of voice, data and video systems and services to support a variety of wholesale institutional and multi-dwelling unit partnerships throughout the United States. He has extensive knowledge of the issues and opportunities which broadband expansion has presented for multi-tenant property owners and managers.
Mr. Baloga has worked extensively with service providers and vendors, and he is skilled in negotiating business terms for a wide variety of voice, data and video products and services. He is familiar with both wired and wireless technologies, as well as state and federal telecommunications legislation and requirements as they pertain to multi-tenant amenity and resale programs.
Mr. Baloga joined the employ of Airwave Networks in April, 2004, bringing 12 years of experience in real estate and telecommunications. Before Airwave Networks, Mr. Baloga served as the Director of Technology and Communications, at GMH Associates, Inc., where he was responsible for the design, implementation and operation of systems and services to support student and military housing technology initiatives.
Education:
Mr. Baloga holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Baloga resides in Erie, Pennsylvania. He has three children, and enjoys sailing, diving, and coaching both football and swimming.
