Angela Bennink has supported rural communities in getting access to broadband for the last 10 years with a focus in Washington State working with the not-for-profit telecommunications company NoaNet (Northwest Open Access Network). NoaNet has connected Public Utility Districts throughout the State to expand the reach of broadband facilities; bridging the digital divide between rural and urban communities. Angela is now the Telecommunications Business Manager for Kitsap Public Utility District, a member of NoaNet, supporting that team in making sure all residents of Kitsap County have the same opportunity to access high quality broadband. Angela is a graduate of University of Washington in Chemical Engineering, enjoys sailing and playing with her two children in Poulsbo, WA.
