Executive Director – Product Management
AT&T
John is the Executive Director of product management for AT&T’s Entertainment division. John has been with AT&T for 20 years, beginning his career with Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1996. John has held numerous marketing positions for AT&T’s consumer and entertainment divisions managing voice, broadband, converged services and TV products.
In 2006, John led the marketing team that developed the original U-verse TV product, branding strategy and go-to-market launch plan. U-verse TV has grown to over 6 Million TV subscribers and is now the 5th largest pay TV provider in the United States.
Currently, John leads the product management organization for AT&T’s DIRECTV product, currently servicing over 18 million residential customers. His team is responsible for delivering AT&T’s DIRECTV product across all devices. This includes management of the mobile, tablet, video on demand, and linear TV platforms. In addition, John is responsible for strategy and implementation of AT&T’s next generation TV platforms.
John has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in International Business and Marketing from Baylor University and a MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
He currently resides in Allen, TX with his wife Cristina and two daughters, Ciana and Sofia.
