Mr. Tim Bobrowski has been Superintendent of Owsley County schools since 2011, but he has worked in the district in varying capacities all but five of his twenty five years in public education. He has served as a classroom teacher, coach, principal, and central office administrator during his tenure as an educator. Mr. Bobrowski learned team work and credits the work of his staff in any and all initiatives within the district. He highly values education with an impetuous on preparing students for college and career readiness and learned service to his community early in life and highly values the relationships that are built on coordinating new initiatives. These initiatives include; Farm to Cafeteria program, Virtual School, Early College Option for high school students, Non-Traditional Instructional days, developed a 24/7 anytime anywhere digital learning plan, sustains a district 1:1 initiative and expanding students ability to take devices home with them in our district involving community members.
Mr. Bobrowski completed a doctorate in Education Leadership (EdD) from Morehead State University in Kentucky of May 2013 where his research was focused on asynchronous learning methodologies and its impact on student achievement.
