Elizabeth Bowles is President and Chair of the Board of Aristotle Inc., an Internet Service Provider, Digital Product Development Lab, and Digital Marketing Agency with corporate offices in Little Rock, Arkansas. Elizabeth guides the strategic direction and vision of the company’s three divisions and is integral to the development of Aristotle’s business relationships, including partnerships, investment strategies, and joint ventures.
A passionate advocate for the expansion of affordable broadband services in underserved rural America, Elizabeth has testified before Congress and the FCC and is currently serving a two-year term on the FCC’s newly established Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee. A past President of the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA), Elizabeth currently serves as WISPA’s Legislative Committee Co-Chair and Arkansas State Coordinator. She also serves as Chair of the Arkansas Broadband Council, Forum Officer for the Arkansas Chapter of the Young Presidents Association, and Chair and Treasurer for WISP PAC.
Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C. and Arkansas, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States and a number of U.S. Courts of Appeals. Prior to joining Aristotle’s leadership team, Elizabeth was an attorney with the Washington, D.C. law firm of Arnold & Porter, where she practiced in the fields of intellectual property and commercial litigation with an emphasis on international and technology law.
Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a B.A. in International Studies and obtained her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1993, where she graduated first in her class, Order of the Coif, and was awarded the Founder’s Medal for the Class of 1993.
Elizabeth has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Arkansas State Bank Board, Better Business Bureau of Arkansas (past President), Rotary Club 99 (Communications Chair), Central Arkansas Executives Association, City Year Little Rock/North Little Rock (Founding Board Member), Arkansas’ Quality Digital Learning Study Committee and Arkansas’ FASTER committee.
Elizabeth enjoys playing Game of War, as well as other online and board strategy games, writing fiction, and traveling for fun with her husband, Rafael Bravo and daughter, Victoria.
