Commercial & Connected Communities, AT&T
Eric Boyer, Senior Vice President, Commercial & Connected Communities is responsible for commercial video deployments as well as AT&T’s national initiatives to serve multi-dwelling units with data, video and wireless services. He was appointed to this position in July 2015.
Previously, Eric served as Senior Vice President, U-verse, where he had ownership for the U-verse P&L and delivering GigaPower for Home Solutions.
Before that, Eric served as Senior Vice President, Service Assurance where he oversaw customer care for AT&T wholesale and business customers worldwide including every Fortune 1000 company and millions of small-and medium-sized businesses.
In July 2006, Eric was appointed President, AT&T Mexico, and his responsibilities included managing the relationship with Latin American partners Telmex, Telmex International and America Movil. He also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Telmex and Telmex International.
Eric’s earlier assignments have included Vice President U-verse Operations, Vice President DSL Marketing, Vice President ASI/SBCIS Network Planning and Engineering, and Vice President Network and Product Support. He began his career in 1990 with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.
He is a native of Kansas City, graduating from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in 1987 and an MBA in 1989. He and his wife Lisa live in Dallas and have three children: Mitchell, Kate and Jessica.
