Jennifer Bullard is an 18-year project/product management professional. Her primary industry has been consumer entertainment software, (video games) with over 20 shipped products including 2 major franchises, three AAA titles and a tool suite for independent developers to build their own product. Jennifer has worked on a wide range of products and platforms with several large business partners during her tenure. As part of an education technology company Jennifer contributed heavily to their SBIR Grant application, which they won. She is one of the two managers of the grant and related product. Jennifer’s specialties are handling internal clients, external business partners, managing development teams and building positive relationships with local, state and education entities.
Jennifer is currently on the Board of Advisors for University of Texas’ GAMMA program, an interdisciplinary degree recently developed to support the high tech entertainment and application industry. She is on the Board of Advisors for Austin Community College’s ADI program, and is an avid supporter of a well educated workforce. Jennifer has been on the STEM Council at Skillpoint Alliance since 2009. She was the Chapter President for IGDA-Austin from 2009 to 2014.
Throughout her career Jennifer has spoken at industry events from GDC Online 2008, 2009, 2010, SXSW 2012, RTX 2013, 2014 & 2015, and at several Austin area High Schools on the importance of STEM education. Jennifer was the commencement speaker for the Art Institute of Austin’s December 2014 graduating class. She was nominated and became a finalist in the Women in Power 2012 hosted by the Austin Business Journal.
Since 2009 Jennifer has become heavily involved with the start-up culture in Austin, has founded 3 companies and been ground floor on 2 other start-ups. Her diverse skill set and experienced background in fast-paced highly evolving industries has been a large factor in her continued success within the field of innovative technologies.
