Chris Draper
Director of iSc.EDI
Indianola Development
As Director of the newly formed iSc.EDI, Chris Draper is responsible for the performance and growth of Indianola + Simpson College Entrepreneurial Development Initiative (iSc.EDI) programming. iSc.EDI operates a startup incubator as part of a partnership between the Indianola Development Association, Simpson College, and the Indianola Municipal Utility. The iSc.EDI incubator focuses on building multi-disciplined teams that will be capable of taking a technology through the commercialization process. This is done by creating an environment where students interact with technology innovators to develop business solutions for addressing the needs of our community.
Prior to coming to Indianola, Draper served as CEO of Meidh Corporation, where his responsibilities included the performance and growth of the corporation. Meidh is an operations consultancy focused on optimizing organizational assets. With an emphasis on economic sustainability, Meidh typically reduces operational costs by targeting energy management strategies in an organization’s facilities. An employee owned company headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, Meidh serves as an advocate for its customers as they navigate the technology-dependent options affecting their business.
