Recently selected as Library Journal’s 2014 Librarian of the Year, Corinne Hill has been Executive Director of the Chattanooga Public Library since March 2012. Hill is a sought-after public speaker and thought leader on the future of public libraries. She has addressed the FCC and was a presenter on the Leadership & Collaborative Innovation panel at the NextLibrary 2013 Conference in Denmark. Hill was recently elected by The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) toserve on the Governing Board's Standing Committee for the upcoming 2013-2017 term. She is also the 2013 recipient of the Urban Libraries Council's Joey Rodgers Leadership Award. Prior to Chattanooga, Hill served as the Interim Director of Libraries for the Dallas Public Library. She is a current member of the American Library Association, The Public Library Association, and Reforma /National Association to Promote Library Services to Latinos.
