Dahna Hull was recently appointed to the newly created executive position of vice president and general manager - Austin, AT&T Services Inc. Based in Austin, she is responsible for the company’s new U-verse with GigaPower initiative.
Hull previously served as vice president and general manager for AT&T Mobility, South Texas and was responsible for wireless operations in the southern half of Texas, including San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Victoria, Corpus Christi and Rio Grande Valley areas.
Hull began her career more than 18 years ago as a member of SBC’s (now AT&T’s) Leadership Development program. Early in her career, she had the opportunity to complete assignments in marketing, network operations, finance, and merger integration. In 1998, Dahna was transferred to Zurich, Switzerland to assist in the development and launch of diAx Mobile, the first competitive mobile operator in that country.
Upon her return to the United States in 2000, she held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in the wireless business. Additionally, Hull led AT&T’s U-verse IPTV marketing effort and served as the assistant vice president for AT&T’s Retention, Prepaid, Language, Wireless Retail Support Centers and National Back Office. At the time, she was responsible for a team of more than 6,000 internal and vendor employees across 40 centers.
Hull holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University and is in the process of relocating to Austin from San Antonio. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing guitar, working in the yard, and spending time with friends and family.
