Gail Huycke is a Professor with the University of Wisconsin Extension where she serves as a Community Development Outreach Specialist in the Broadband & E-Commerce Education Center. She has 34 years of experience in delivering community outreach programs in family and community economic development. In 2015 Huycke joined the Broadband Education Center serving as Director for the Connected Aging Communities Initiative sponsored by Bader Philanthropies. Connected Aging Communities, is a groundbreaking new initiative that’s using a unique “high tech, high touch” holistic, community development approach to enable aging residents to live independently at home. Huycke holds a BS in Education from Silver Lake College and a Master’s Degree in Education and Communications from UW-Superior.
