Co-Founder, Chairman and President
Siklu Inc.
Izik Kirshenbaum is a serial entrepreneur who has been involved in the wireless communication business and technology for the past 30 years. Together with a number of telecommunications veterans, he founded Siklu Inc., a developer of ground-breaking, mmWave radio systems for affordable, easy to deploy, last mile multigigabit connectivity.
Previously, Izik co-founded and served as CEO of Envara, a Wi-Fi chipset startup which was acquired 4 years later by Intel, where Izik served as Co-General Manager of the Broadband Wireless Division responsible for Intel’s WiMAX activities.
Izik has taken on mentoring and advisory roles in a number of startup companies in their early phases, among them PrimeSense that was acquired by Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), and SolarEdge (NASDAQ: SEDG). His knowledge and expertise are helping to lead and shape the mmWave industry transformation, from what was a niche market based on military technology only 5 years ago, to a mass market accessible to (almost) every building and household.
Izik holds a B.Sc. (Cum Laude) from Ben Gurion University, and an M.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University, both in Electronics Engineering.
