Brett joined OneCommunity in 2010, as Chief Operating Officer, to oversee the planned $100 million network expansion investment. This expansion would grow the network across 22 counties, add over 900 new customer locations and provide training, creating thousands of new sustainable broadband adopters. Multiple federal grants drove the funding required to deliver successful results over a three year period. Brett oversees the execution of all of OneCommunity’s initiatives, operations and revenue generation.
Prior to OneCommunity Brett was with Cleveland-based mobile enterprise firm Vox Mobile, where he also served as COO and oversaw the operations for this rapidly growing organization. Brett brings more than 20 years experience in successful operations management and business development efforts for venture-backed organizations to the Fortune 500. Brett has extensive experience in the telecom industry, including serving as president of Elantic Telecom, Inc. and holding a variety of executive management positions with City Signal Communications, Qwest Communications, XO Communications and Williams Communication Systems.
