Daniel O’Connell is Vice President, Consumer Sales for CenturyLink. He leads a nationwide team of sales and engineering professionals in designing technology solutions and securing bulk and marketing agreements with residential real estate developers, owners and property management companies. O’Connell’s team is focused on delivering CenturyLink On® technology to new developments, enabling residents to activate symmetrical internet service up to 1 Gigabit in minutes, without the need for a technician visit. The instant gratification provided with this fiber-fed, no-contract solution has positioned CTL On® as a preferred option in new construction MDU projects. O’Connell joined CenturyLink in 2018, with more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and cable industries. The majority of those years were spent in senior leadership roles with some of the nation’s largest service providers serving the residential housing market. O’Connell is the former president of the Fiber to the Home Council (formerly Fiber Broadband Association). He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Catholic University of America and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.
