Tony Perez is the director of the Seattle Office of Cable and Broadband and NATOA President. Mr. Perez has worked with local governments for over 25 years, concentrating on technology policy and regulatory issues. In addition to his duties as a cable regulator, Tony provides thought leadership, policy development and strategic advice to ensure that Seattle and local communities are positioned to exploit the transformational nature of Broadband technology for the benefit of their residents, businesses and institutions. Tony has spoken at national and international events on the social and economic benefits of FTTH. He currently serves on the FCC’s Federal Advisory Committee on Diversity for Communications in the Digital Age and is a member of the Advisory Board to the University of Washington’s Technology Law and Public Policy Clinic. In his spare time Tony enjoys spending time with his family and being a Seeing Eye human for his blind dog Brady.
