Alan has been in the HVAC and Energy Management industry since 1989 and recognized as a leading expert in energy management. He has helped clients achieve the lowest metrics in energy for their medium to large commercial facilities. Alan has extensive experience ranging from simple corporate headquarter/office facilities to highly critical manufacturing/FAB/clean room/Data center facilities being able to reduce the energy consumption typically 20% to over 50% with paybacks under two years or less without disrupting operations.

Alan Pong has been highlighted in the SJ Business Journal for helping Cypress Semiconductor save over $1 million dollars per year with a one year payback. He has optimized many corporate headquarter and office buildings to operate 20-30% lower than the EPA Energy Star Award levels.

Alan is a graduate from Hayward State University in Management and Marketing. He has performed benchmark studies and investment grade energy audits for many hi tech facilities internationally. He has also managed complex investment grade audits and re-engineering projects which have resulted in some of the lowest benchmarks in the industry for energy and maintenance costs per square feet. 

Alan has shared his expertise in educational seminars and presentations for many organizations including BOMA, PG&E, Bay Area Air Quality, ACP, and IFMA Utility Councils. Alan is also on the board of directors for the IFMA Silicon Valley Chapter and helped create their benchmark initiatives.
