David Scott is responsible for developing and executing on Motorola's Passive Optical LAN Worldwide Go to Market Strategy. David brings 20 years of sales and marketing management experience to Motorola. For 2 years previously, David was Motorola's Director of Worldwide Sales to Verizon Business. Before Motorola, David served as Vice President of Sales for Lucid Security, a leader in Intrusion Prevention Systems taking Lucid to $9 million in revenue in less than 18 months followed by a successful acquisition by Trustwave (www.trustwave.com). Prior to Lucid, Scott spent eight years as Vice President of Enterprise Sales for Visual Networks (NASDAQ:VNWK), a Maryland-based provider of WAN performance management solutions. David's tenure at Visual Networks included a successful IPO in 1998. David also held sales management positions for Make Systems, General DataComm (NYSE:GDC) and NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR). David holds a BS in Finance and Computer Systems Management from Drexel University.
