Chris Smith is the technical program manager for MDU at Google Fiber, where he is responsible for the execution of engineering & construction across all markets. Prior to joining Google, Chris spent the last 15 years developing municipal Fiber to the Home design builds, where he held director roles in program management, business development, engineering, and supply chain management. Chris served on the FTTH Council technical committee for 5 years, in addition to the governmental relations board. Chris attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for Business Management, in addition to holding a BS in Telecommunications Management. Chris currently resides in Palo Alto, CA where he and his wife are raising 3 beautiful children, Jaxsen, Whitley, and Harrisen.
