Mike Smith is the Director of the Building Technology Services ("BTS") Group for Forest City Enterprise, Inc. ,which is a Cleveland, Ohio, based Real Estate Company.
The BTS group works closely with the Forest City Residential Development, Management and Marketing groups to implement resident communications and building infrastructure for new development projects. In addition to the communications infrastructure, the BTS group is involved with the research of solutions such as wireless access, building security, building access and control systems, and environmental controls. The BTS group is also responsible for identifying ancillary service possibilities and negotiates all communication service provider agreements for Forest City's residential portfolio.
Forest City Residential Management, Inc. owns and/or manages 123 residential rental properties in 18 states and the District of Columbia, representing more than 38,000 apartment units.
