In his current role as VP of Business Development, Beni is responsible for anticipating the needs of customers, leading sales and marketing activities, and developing new business.

Beni’s 26+ year career in the optical communication systems field combines experience in the areas of engineering, product and market development, and sales. Highlights of his work include a patent for the design of a fiber optic cable, designing one of the first fiber-to-the-home communities in the United States, and serving on the TIA committee developing fiber optic cabling standards. He has also authored several technical papers and has served as an officer on the Fiber Optic Technology Consortium (FOTC).

Beni joined Hexatronic North America in August of 2019 following a 16 year career with Nexans, and having worked for other industry leaders such as Corning and CommScope. He holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering as well as a Master of Engineering degree from North Carolina State University.
