Jonathan Solomon, Sr Partner Solutions Architect, joined Amazon Web Services in late 2019 where he works with telecommunications partners to create scalable media and entertainment focused solutions that run in the cloud. Jonathan has held a variety of roles with industry leaders over his twenty five years of Broadcast Engineering covering system design, administration, and project management. Prior to this role, he specialized in high speed data transport as part of Aspera, an IBM Company. His vast experience in broadcast and IP allows him to routinely bridge the two worlds. Career highlights include the first live HD video transmission over commodity internet from Cuba, architecting the WWE OTT Network, dark fiber network design, and project design and management for several multi-million dollar broadcast facilities.
