Chris has been providing operational and leadership experience to NoaNet since it was founded in 2001. Hired as the Operations Manager, he was quickly promoted to Operations and Engineering Manager and eventually to the Telecommunications Director position in 2010. Currently, Chris is working on network growth and expansion, strategic planning, capital development of outside plants, community outreach and competitive procurement for NoaNet. He was the executive director of the Federal Broadband Technology Opportunities Program for Washington State, a program to bridge the digital divide, create jobs, and improve education, public safety and health care through the use of broadband across the state. As a native of Washington State, Chris is very active in community affairs working towards bringing affordable high speed broadband access to rural communities across the Pacific Northwest. As NoaNet’s director, he is responsible for construction build-out and sets the architectural direction of the network facilities for the company. Prior to NoaNet, Chris served 12 years in the armed forces in various management and leadership roles.
