As a member of various committees and task forces, and as an elected member and chair of the Rockport Select Board, she strives to expand high-speed internet throughout the Town of Rockport and Midcoast Maine.

She chairs the Midcoast Internet Coalition, which consists of more than a dozen municipalities interested in establishing municipally owned fiber optic networks. She is also the president of the Midcoast Internet Development Corporation, a newly formed nonprofit regional utility district focused on building fiber optic networks to all homes and businesses within a geographic region of Maine.
