Debra Hall has 40 years of experience as an international corporate, regulatory and technology attorney. She co-founded and is the co-owner of a technology company that holds a U.S. registered patent in the field of artificial intelligence.
Hall has long been an advocate for high-speed broadband. As president of two homeowners’ associations, she led a successful effort to bring fiber-to-the-home to 541 residences in Naples, Fla. As a member of various committees and task forces, and as an elected member and chair of the Rockport Select Board, she strives to expand high-speed internet throughout the Town of Rockport and Midcoast Maine.
She chairs the Midcoast Internet Coalition, which consists of more than a dozen municipalities interested in establishing municipally owned fiber optic networks. She is also the president of the Midcoast Internet Development Corporation, a newly formed nonprofit regional utility district focused on building fiber optic networks to all homes and businesses within a geographic region of Maine.
