Anna Read is the research officer for the Pew Charitable Trusts’ broadband research initiative. Before joining Pew, she was a senior research associate at the American Planning Association. She also worked as a project manager on regional broadband planning efforts for Missouri’s office of administration and for the International City/County Management Association’s center for sustainable communities, where her work focused on smart growth and rural communities. Read holds a bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College and a master’s degree in regional planning from Cornell University.
