Jody Shadduck-McNally was elected Larimer County Commissioner for District 3 in 2020, the first woman to hold that seat. The area encompasses Loveland, Berthoud, Estes Park and surrounding areas.
Shaddock-McNally, who is the founder of two nonprofits in Larimer County, has an extended history of public service in areas including education, aging, affordable housing, environmental issues, behavioral health, honoring women’s suffrage and more. She was appointed by the governor to the State Forest Health Council and serves on the National Association of Counties environmental energy land use steering committee.
Born and raised in northern Colorado, she and her husband have three children and a small, regenerative farm with bees and chickens. She enjoys running, hiking (over 100 miles a year in Rocky Mountain National Park), camping, mountain biking, photography and spending time with her family.
Shadduck-McNally holds a B.S. from the University of Colorado, Boulder and an M.S. from the University of New Mexico.
