Ryan Smith is the head of business development for utility broadband at Nokia and the co-vice chair of the Rural Broadband Working Group within the Utility Broadband Alliance. Smith has spent the last 12 years helping utilities make strategic investments in their communications infrastructure to move beyond legacy communications toward advanced broadband solutions that enhance reliability and security, support grid modernization and include new revenue opportunities in rural or underserved regions. He has his MBA from Keller Graduate of School of Management at DeVry University.
