Roger Timmerman is a technology management professional with over 20 years experience in telecommunications and information technology. He is the CEO of the 21 city open-access UTOPIA Fiber project, operating networks in Utah, Idaho, and Montana. UTOPIA Fiber is the largest open-access network in the country with the most competitive service provider marketplace supporting 16 residential and 32 business service providers. Timmerman has been designing and building fiber and wireless networks throughout his career with UTOPIA Fiber, Vivint Wireless, iProvo, and Brigham Young University. He earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in information technology from Brigham Young University.
