Director of Information Technology
SouthEast Texas Regional Advisory Council

Jeremiah Williamson, director of information technology for the SouthEast Texas Regional Advisory Council (SETRAC), is responsible for providing and maintaining tools, data services and security, and communications for SETRAC’s operations. In quiet times, he supports SETRAC’s efforts to provide services to the region’s healthcare coalitions, preparedness, and clinical programs. During the not-so-quiet times, he supports the operational needs of the Catastrophic Medical Operations Center (CMOC) in the Command Center and its deployed assets in the field.

Williamson holds an associate’s degree in electrical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in information technology management. He has an extensive background in applying technology to field operations in the Gulf of Mexico oilfield, then in emergency response, beginning with the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill. He has deployed and supported responses across the country, including oil spills, tornados, ice storms, hurricanes, and now pandemics.
