Franc Arbide leads NextEra Infrastructure Solutions, which provides street lighting, metering, energy services and fiber solutions to municipalities, public utilities and home builders as well as regulated street lighting and back up generation offerings offered by FPL (Florida Power & Light). He was previously responsible for working with municipal governments to assist in converting their streetlights to LED and reached agreements with over 100 municipalities throughout the state of Florida, leading to the conversion of more than 200,000 streetlights.
Prior to joining FPLES, Arbide spent 14 years at WhiteFence, an internet marketing business focused on generating leads for utilities and other home-based services, starting there in the pre-revenue stage and staying through its sale to a competitor. He held multiple ascending roles including in-house counsel, vice president of sales, vice president of operations, chief strategy officer and CEO. He negotiated and entered into agreements with many of the largest home utilities and real estate investment trusts in the country, including AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, Reliant Energy, AIMCO, Equity Residential, Trammel Crow and Camden Property Trust.
Prior to WhiteFence, Arbide was a real estate attorney in South Florida, representing lenders and developers in large scale residential and commercial developments.
