Mitchell Shook, the founder and CEO of Advanced Stream, started out as an ISP in Washington State in 1997. Operating on the nation’s first broadband "open access" network, Shook pioneered the concept of open access and municipal broadband.
Today Advanced Stream operates on open access fiber optic networks in Utah, Idaho, and Washington State.
