Drew Van Dopp

Maryland Broadband Cooperative, Inc.
Drew joined the Maryland Broadband Cooperative in 2009 and currently serves as Director of Administration and Grants. Among his several duties are overseeing project implementation, federal grant administration and reporting, and he is the Program Manager of the Broadband Mapping Initiative for the State of Maryland. Prior to joining Maryland Broadband, Drew spent 15 years in the utility industry both in telecommunications and public power.
Drew often speaks to groups about Cancer Survivorship and was featured in the Total Cancer Wellness Guide. He addressed The Cancer Support Community’s annual Celebration of Hope in 2007 and 2010.
Drew has a B.A. with Honors in History from the American University in Washington, DC. He and his wife Kelly have two sons, Spencer and Jack. In his off-time Drew enjoys his boys’ several athletic and academic activities, including baseball, football, and basketball.
