Tim Moyer is a Program Manager for the National Telecommunication and Information Administration’s BroadbandUSA program. Mr. Moyer supports NTIA’s Broadband Availability Map program, mandated by Congress in the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018. The program seeks to improve the quality and accuracy of broadband availability data, particularly in rural areas, with the intention of identifying gaps in broadband availability that can be used to improve policymaking and inform public investments. Previously, Mr. Moyer managed a portfolio of infrastructure grants as part of the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP). Before joining NTIA, Mr. Moyer worked at Sprint Nextel as the Director of Project Management, Corporate Development & Spectrum Management. Mr. Moyer earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Hayward. In addition, Mr. Moyer has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
