Jonathan L. West serves as the Chairman of Foursight Communications located in Cookeville Tennessee. Foursight Communications is a partnership of three communications cooperatives established to help rural electric cooperatives and municipalities successfully bring broadband services to their communities in an expedited manner. In addition to his role with Foursight, Jonathan’s primarily serves as the CEO of Twin Lakes Telephone Cooperative. Twin Lakes has evolved from a rural telephone cooperative formed in 1951 to a growing multi-product services cooperative. Jonathan has overseen the acquisition of entities that are complimentary to Twin Lakes’ strategic objectives, as well as the development of new products and services to meet the needs of the region’s businesses and households. Twin Lakes plans to bring fiber optic facilities to every home and business in the area they serve by the end of 2020, with 85% of those locations currently served today.
Jonathan graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been with Twin Lakes since 2001. Since that time, he served in various engineering and management roles, until being named CEO in 2010. Jonathan currently serves as the president of the Tennessee Rural Communications Cooperative Association, chairman of the Highlands Economic Partnership, and chairman of the National Telecommunications Cooperative’s Association Industry Committee. He serves on the board of directors for the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, Codero Hosting, iRis Networks, Tennessee Telecommunications Association and Foursight Communications.
