Mr. Woods has had the unique opportunity to be involved as an early pioneer in the multifamily Internet service from its very beginning; starting with launching high-speed Internet service in one of the very first U.S. apartment communities to go online, to being part of the first Internet service provider that launched gigabit service in 2008 (CondoInternet, acquired by Wave Broadband and productized as WAVE-G).
Since WAVE’s acquisition by RCN, Doug now leads and supports the multifamily telecom strategies across the three RCN brands; Wave, RCN & Grande Communications, the 6th largest cable and Internet provider in the US. Supported by teams of top professionals, the Wave/RCN/Grande brands have earned best of breed stature among the next-gen, ultra-high speed Internet providers. It is rated #1 in speed and reliability by PC Magazine, is top ranked by Neflix Speed Index, and consistently enjoys the top Net Promoter Scores in their markets.
