AT&T Brings U-verse with GigaPower to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — AT&T announced the launch of U-verse with AT&T GigaPower in the San Antonio area.

With AT&T GigaPower, customers are able to download 25 songs in less than a second or their favorite HD movie in less than 36 seconds.2 U-verse with AT&T GigaPower customers will have access to Internet speeds up to 1 gigabit per second and AT&T’s award-winning U-verse TV and voice services. The service operates on a 100 percent fiber network.

The success of the first AT&T GigaPower market in Austin, Texas led to a major expansion beginning in 2014. AT&T is working with local leaders within the 21 state service area who are interested in expanding the availability of the 100 percent fiber-optic network to consumers and small businesses. U-verse with AT&T GigaPower is available in 15 markets today, and plans have now been announced to offer AT&T GigaPower in parts of the Jacksonville, Orlando, St. Louis and San Antonio markets.
