AT&T Expands GigaPower to Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Miami and Ft. Lauderdale

ATLANTA — AT&T announced the introduction/expansion of its GigaPower service in six new markets.

Atlanta
Faster speeds and lower prices are now available for U-verse with AT&T GigaPower customers in parts of Atlanta, Brookhaven, Decatur, Dunwoody, Milton, Newnan, Sandy Springs, Woodstock and surrounding communities. Speeds up to 1 Gbps on the AT&T GigaPower network will now start as low as $70 a month. Customers currently subscribing to U-verse with AT&T GigaPower with speeds at 100 Mbps and up to 1 Gbps will see the new lower price on their next bill. Existing 100 Mbps customers will also see their Internet speeds upgraded to up to 1 Gbps automatically by October 15.

Chicago
Faster speeds and lower prices are now available for U-verse with AT&T GigaPower customers in Chicago, Elgin, Oswego, Plainfield, Skokie, Yorkville and surrounding communities. The AT&T GigaPower network provides customers access to the fastest Internet available from AT&T, featuring speeds up to 1 gigabit per second. And today, AT&T announced it is tripling Internet speeds to 300 Mbps for all current 100 Mbps customers. The speed upgrade will occur automatically by October 15. Additionally, speeds on the AT&T GigaPower network will now start as low as $80 a month for 300 Mbps, and as low as $110 a month for up to 1 Gbps.

Nashville
Faster speeds and lower prices are now available for U-verse with AT&T GigaPower customers in parts of Clarksville, Franklin, Lebanon, Murfreesboro, Nashville, Smyrna and surrounding communities. Speeds up to 1 Gbps on the AT&T GigaPower network will now start as low as $70 a month. Customers currently subscribing to U-verse with AT&T GigaPower with speeds at 100 Mbps and up to 1 gigabit per second will see the new lower price on their next bill. Existing 100Mbps customers will also see their Internet speeds upgraded to up to 1 gigabit automatically by October 15.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale

Crown Point, Gary and Hammond
AT&T is making AT&T GigaPower available to residential and small business customers in Crown Point, Gary and Hammond. The new Internet service gives customers some of the fastest online speeds available anywhere. Customers can download 25 songs in less than a second, a TV show in three seconds or their favorite HD movie in less than 36 seconds.
