AT&T Fiber Expands to Nearly 50 Cities Nationwide

DALLAS — AT&T Fiber is bringing its gigabit Internet connection to homes, apartments and small business locations in nearly 50 new cities. This brings service to additional communities in 17 metro areas where it has previously launched.

Metro areas where AT&T continues to expand its 100 percent fiber network include:

  • Birmingham, Alabama

  • Charleston, South Carolina

  • Chicago

  • Columbia, South Carolina

  • Greensboro, North Carolina

  • Huntsville, Alabama

  • Houston

  • Indianapolis

  • Kansas City, Missouri

  • Little Rock, Arkansas

  • Los Angeles (Jurupa, Los Angeles, Orange County)

  • Memphis, Tennessee

  • Mobile, Alabama

  • New Orleans

  • Sacramento, California

  • San Diego

  • St. Louis


The company is currently available in over 51 metros nationwide and it plans to reach at least 67 metros. Currently the company is marketing a 1 gigabit connection to nearly 4 million customer locations. More than 650,000 of those locations are apartments and condo units.
