AT&T Fiber Launches in Jeffersonville and New Albany, Indiana

DALLAS — AT&T Fiber is expanding availability of its 1 gigabit Internet connection to more customer locations in the Louisville area with the launch of service today in parts of Jeffersonville and New Albany, Indiana. The service is available to tens of thousands of homes, apartments and small business locations, including nearly 80 multifamily properties, in the Louisville metro area where AT&T announced gigabit speeds in Oct. 2016.

The Louisville area is one of 51 metros nationwide where AT&T Fiber is currently available, which includes Indianapolis. The company plans to reach at least 67 metros. AT&T markets its service to nearly 4 million locations nationwide, of which over 650,000 include apartments and condo units and plans to reach at least 12.5 million locations by mid-2019.

Internet-only pricing for customers who choose AT&T Internet 1000, the fastest speed tier, starts as low as $80 a month with a 12-month commitment. Customers may be able to add DIRECTV or U-verse TV services. The company offers single-, double- and triple-play offers as well as the latest Wi-Fi technology.
