AT&T Fiber Network Launches in Central Kentucky Area

GEORGETOWN, KY — AT&T Fiber is offering a 1 gigabit connection on its fiber network to customer locations in parts of Central Kentucky, including in parts of Georgetown and surrounding communities. Central Kentucky is one of 62 areas nationwide where AT&T's ultra-fast internet service is currently available.

“Our customers are increasingly interacting with their world in more data-intensive ways,” said hood Harris, president, AT&T Kentucky. “A growing number of people are streaming content directly from their devices, and interacting with family and friends through live videos. For these reasons, we’re continuing to expand the availability of our fastest internet speeds to more locations throughout the Commonwealth.”

AT&T Internet 1000 is AT&T's fastest internet speed tier and offered at $70 per month for customers who bundle with another AT&T service on a single bill, or $80 per month standalone. Either way, no extra monthly fees apply and equipment is included with a 12-month agreement. Customers are also able to add DIRECTV or U-verse TV service as well.
