AT&T Fiber Now Available in Greater Milwaukee Area

MILWAUKEE, WI — AT&T Fiber is now offering a 1 gigabit connection to customer locations in parts of the Milwaukee area, including in parts of Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, Waukesha and surrounding communities. The company plans to expand access to fiber network in parts of West Allis in the future.

The Milwaukee area is one of 47 metros nationwide where our ultra-fast Internet service is currently available. AT&T plans to reach at least 67 metros with gigabit Internet service. AT&T markets its ultra-fast service to nearly 4 million locations nationwide, of which over 650,000 include apartments and condo units. The company plans to reach at least 12.5 million locations by mid-2019.

Supporting Streaming Content and Live Video Interactions
“Our customers are increasingly interacting with their world in more data-intensive ways,” said Scott T. VanderSanden, president of AT&T Wisconsin. “A growing number of people are streaming content directly from their devices, and interacting with family and friends through live videos. For these reasons, we’re bringing our fastest Internet speeds to Milwaukee area communities powered by AT&T Fiber.”

AT&T Fiber Pricing
Internet-only pricing for customers who choose AT&T Internet 1000 starts as low as $80 a month with a 12-month commitment. Customers may be able to add DIRECTV or U-verse TV services. Single-, double- and triple-play offers are available.

AT&T in Wisconsin
AT&T has invested more than $825 million in its wireless and wireline networks in Wisconsin between 2013 through 2015. These investments drives upgrades to reliability, coverage, speed and performance for residents and business customers.
