BLAZE to Launch Asset Monitoring and Remote Camera

  • BLAZE Wireless
CAMBRIDGE, NB – In an effort to expand its FTTH network offerings to underserved communities, BLAZE Wireless, a telecommunications provider in southwest Nebraska, has begun an expansion of its wireless network which will not only allow the company to offer mobile products but also a fixed data solution. The solution is based on the launch of two new product and service lines: SnapTraq and Spypoint. Both products will operate using the BLAZE Wireless Network.

SNAPTRAQ
SnapTraq is a full-service asset monitoring tool that combines the latest in sensor technology with high-speed wireless networks. Utilizing the SnapTraq software with a BLAZE Wireless connection, customers will receive real time data from any asset that they wish to track. The tracking data can be pulled up on any computer, tablet, or smart phone. SnapTraq enables users to view the asset's location history, its current location, and even set alerts for when an asset moves out of a specified target location.

“This software is geared to help businesses and farmers keep track of equipment, vehicles, and anything else of value” stated Tom Shoemaker, president of BLAZE Wireless. “The ability to keep track of a company’s or person’s assets that may be in remote locations is a definite need in our part of Nebraska.” Final stages of testing are currently being completed with the new service expected to be available later this month.

Spypoint
Spypoint offers a full range of remote camera products that operate using the BLAZE wireless network. BLAZE is only the second authorized dealer of Spypoint products in the state and the only dealer that is also a network provider. The cameras include motion sensor technology, 48 infrared LEDS and built in GPS. The security version also includes a full HD video recording option. Pictures and videos can be pulled up from any connected device to be viewed and alerts can be set for when a camera has been moved. “Spypoint has been a long-time leader in trail camera technology,” Stated Shoemaker. “We felt that Spypoint fit perfectly with our long-term strategy of providing cutting edge services over our wireless network.” BLAZE will be carrying the 3G Versions of the cameras with a retail price starting at $499.00

BLAZE Wireless had previously announced the expansion of its Wireless network in both Furnas and Red Willow counties. “It’s an exciting time for us at BLAZE Wireless,” Shoemaker added. “The expansion of our network and the addition of these great new products should allow us to reach even more people in our communities with reliable and cutting edge services.”
