Canadian Telco Adds DVR Apps Developed by ETI Software

ATLANTA, GA - MTS, Manitoba's leading telephone company, has deployed ETI Software Solutions' applications for remote and mobile DVR. The apps allow MTS customers to remotely manage program recordings from any computer with an Internet connection as well as over their mobile devices.

"This application will change the way our users will program their PVRs," says Jon Klassen, vice president of information technology for MTS. "I'm blown away by the speed of the search - it is an excellent application." Features include the ability to:
• Add, change, or delete recordings from any computer with a modern browser or a variety of smart phones, including the iPhone, Android and Blackberry
• Browse the MTS online program guide for up to 14 days of TV scheduling
• Search for a program by title
• Delete recorded programs from the set top's DVR

MTS chose ETI to create the applications because of its long-standing relationship with the company and the success of its deployments of ETI's B/OSS solution, Triad. As MTS introduced new technologies, such as IPTV and FTTH, Triad's automated provisioning integrations have ensured speed of service activations and accuracy of billing.
