PUSLINCH, ON – Clearcable has commenced work with the Township of Puslinch to improve broadband services for local citizens. The Township has partnered with Clearcable and the University of Guelph R2B2 Project to assess the current status, define technology options, and create an overall broadband strategy that will pave the way for new services.
The Township will seek all options for federal, provincial and local service provider support to improve internet service in the area and will leverage Clearcable’s expertise in service provider and municipal networking to build the required technical plan and business case, and to provide the detailed information necessary for the application or opportunity evaluation process.
The triple-helix collaboration of the municipal government, higher-education research, and private sector expertise is major tenant of the intelligent community movement. This collaboration is expected to help position the Township for continued economic success and a high standard of living.
