LINKÖPING, SWEDEN - Cable operator CAIW, which is active in the western Netherlands and operates under the Caiway brand, is upgrading 150,000 lines to FTTH and making its network open access. To support the expected surge in customers and services on the network, CAIW selected a network management platform from Netadmin Systems.

Netadmin has extensive experience in managing customers, services, subscriptions and equipment on open access networks. The market leader in the Nordic countries, it is now growing rapidly in international markets and boasts more than 100 customers in 15 countries.

CAIW expects to realize higher efficiency with the use of the Netadmin platform and to increase customer uptake and retention through improved quality. Ruud Wielaard, CAIW's technical director, says the company sees Netadmin as essential for the successful growth of its customer base and services.
