Entanet Launches FTTP Packages in the UK

  • FTTH
TELFORD, UK - British wholesale communications provider Entanet expanded its broadband portfolio with the introduction of FTTP packages that enable resellers to serve business and residential customers with upload and download speeds of up to 30 Mbps and 110 Mbps respectively.

Entanet is a player in incumbent telco BT's complex ecosystem. It colocates its MPLS network equipment at all the key aggregation points of BT's 21st-century network, purchases wholesale bandwidth from BT and sells communications services to retail service providers, largely for business end customers.

Entanet’s head of sales, Stephen Barclay, says, “With our FTTC services already proven to be hugely popular amongst our channel partners, adding FTTP to this portfolio will enable them to take advantage of even more market opportunities. Connectivity options in the U.K. are growing prolifically, and these products serve a segment of the market that is increasingly demanding higher speeds to run applications, combine video with voice and distribute essential bandwidth consuming files. Our partner sales and provisioning teams are assisting partners extensively right now.”
