ATLANTA - Greenlight, the municipal fiber network operator in Wilson, N.C., will be the first to deploy Clearleap's cloud-based streaming services integrated with ETI Software Solutions' Triad billing system.

"Our Greenlight subscribers want to be able to enjoy on-demand video and streaming content," says Will Aycock, broadband operations manager and ITS manager for the city of Wilson. "Not only does this interface open up a world of viewing possibilities to our subscribers - it keeps our CSR experience simple because it is automated through Triad."

The Triad/Clearleap interface enables television service providers to create a fully operator-branded subscriber experience, similar to those offered by Netflix, Amazon and Hulu, by streaming content directly to connected set-top boxes, TVs and other devices.

"The Triad-Clearleap integration gives telco video providers power to compete with third-party streaming services by providing content over existing broadband networks and by leveraging the provisioning and billing through their existing Triad system," says Pete Pifer, chairman and CEO of ETI Software Solutions. "This quick and cost-effective integration is a win-win because the provider can give subscribers more viewing options without vastly increasing operating expense."
