Everywhere Wireless Adds Value to Chicago Condo Sales

CHICAGO, IL — The Guild, a 14-story condominium tower located in the heart of Chicago's South Loop, was rented as apartments during a weak housing market in 2009 when it was built. Now the units are being resold as condos with the added value of Everywhere Wireless to bring Ethernet Internet service to the property.

Before Everywhere Wireless' services were available, the Internet speed package available to the residents ranged from 1.5 Mbps to 6 Mbps. Residents now have access to speeds 66 times faster than before and the company plans to offer its 1,000 Mbps speeds in the near future. "We're delivering the cure for cripplingly slow Internet, with access to speeds from this decade," declared Marvin Hossain, director of business development at Everywhere Wireless.

Fast Internet can Increase Property Values

Not only is slow Internet a nuisance for residents of condos such as The Guild, it can actually lower property values. More and more prospective buyers are checking the availability of high-speed Internet in their potential new home. That fact has increased demand for services from companies such as Everywhere Wireless and Google Fiber. "As much as condos are a home, they're also an investment. The increase in property value with our network infrastructure upgrade at the property is an added bonus for owners," remarked Marvin.

Everywhere Wireless owns, manages and controls a Chicago-based Gigabit Internet Network, designed exclusively for multi-family communities within Chicago. EW's network offers a 99.9 percent guaranteed uptime with speeds of more than 1,000 Mbps, also known as Gigabit speeds. Everywhere Wireless is the same company that partnered with the city of Chicago to deliver Wi-Fi to many of Chicago's beaches and parks, and most recently, set a Chicago record for the fastest Internet in all of Chicago, as reported by Crain's Chicago Business.
