MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - Google Fiber continues its buildout in the Kansas City area as new fiberhoods are planned and launched. Here's an update.
Fiber for Prairie Village
The Prairie Village, Kansas City Council pleased residents by voting to bring Google Fiber to their city. This project now enters the planning stage.
Launch Dates for 28 New Google Fiberhoods
Just in time for the new school year, Google announced September launch dates for twenty-eight new fiberhoods.
Thursday, September 5
Google Fiber will launch in Maple Hill, Highland Park, West Waldo, Western Hills, West Plaza South and Scarritt Pt North.
Thursday, September 12
Google Fiber will launch in Boone Hills, Santa Fe Hills, Eastern 49-63, Leeds/Dunbar, Plaza Westport and Lea Manor.
Thursday, September 19
Google Fiber will launch in Cambridge Circle - Shawnee Drive, Strawberry Hill, Noble Prentis, William White, Riverview Park, Wyandotte High School, Welborn Park and Quindaro.
Thursday, September 26
Google Fiber will launch in Parkwood Park - Downtown, Rosedale Arch, Pearson School, Armourdale, Pendleton Heights and Southmoreland.
